For Dr. Rachel Doty, opening Sunflower Performance & Rehab in Goodland, Kansas, is the realization of a longtime dream: raising her family in a close-knit rural community while providing high-quality, personalized physical therapy care.

Originally from McClave, Colorado, Rachel developed an appreciation for rural living and accessible healthcare at an early age. She earned her bachelor's degree from Fort Hays State University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

After beginning her career in the Denver metropolitan area, Rachel relocated to Burlington, Colorado, in 2014, where she spent the last several years at Schaal Therapy Center. There, she developed a passion for outpatient rehabilitation, helping patients of all ages regain mobility, strength, and confidence.

With more than 10 years of clinical experience, Rachel specializes in hands-on, individualized treatment. Her advanced training includes functional dry needling, high-velocity mobilization, myofascial cupping, RockFlossing, RockTaping, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).
